About this place
A complete circuit of the Vercors massif covering 170 km, this trail encircles one of the largest regional natural parks in France. Its high karst plateaux with short turf, its beech and fir forests, its limestone cliffs dropping down to the Valence plain and its deep gorges make up a massif of exceptional geological diversity. Dogs have access to varied terrain — summit meadows, woodland and mountain streams — in one of the last strongholds of large wild fauna (wolves, chamois, deer).
