A forest in the Pays d'Ouche · la forêt de Conches-Breteuil covers nearly 4,000 ha of oak and beech woods on the southern Eure plateaux. Dotted with ponds and woodland pools · it is very popular with local walkers. Dogs on a lead can follow forest tracks between dense coppice and tall forest · in absolute quiet far from tourist routes.

Fine of up to 750 € for a dog not kept on a lead outside forest paths from 15 April to 30 June.
Specific rules
Dogs allowed all year round. Lead mandatory outside forest paths from 15 April to 30 June (order of 16 March 1955 · protection of wildlife during the breeding season). For the rest of the year the dog must remain under its owner's control and within 100 m. Guide and assistance dogs are not subject to this rule. Natural water points depending on the area.
