The century-old plane-tree-lined banks of the Canal du Midi and the Canal de Brienne are Toulouse's most iconic spots for walking dogs. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Canal du Midi offers kilometres of shaded towpaths from Toulouse towards the locks.
