About this place
This walking route follows paths that pass near places connected to Vlaminck, a painter from the early 20th century. Gently rolling, the circuit winds on both sides of the Avre aqueduct, which carries drinking water all the way to Paris. | Crossing the valleys of Buternay, Lamblore and Nouvet, this walk is defined by water — seen or sometimes just sensed. You'll also pass near the cemetery where Vlaminck's grave lies, and the route starts at the town hall where a bust of the painter recalls his life in the village. Circuit created with the support of the Comité Départemental de Randonnée Pédestre d'Eure-et-Loir. Follow the yellow waymarks. Dogs allowed on a lead.
