Plage de Barneville-Carteret — Barneville-Carteret

About this place

La Manche · France's most dog-friendly department · offers wild beaches alternating sand and pebbles · often bordered by salt marshes · in bays with some of the most dramatic tides in Europe. Out of season · the beach regains a serenity unknown to summer bathers: dogs on a lead enjoy a near-deserted expanse · a frequently rough sea and a raw coastal landscape.
