Green space of 40 hectares on the former Vauban fortifications along the banks of the Ill, the Strasbourg citadel offers paths between ramparts, moats and woodland. Less well known than the Orangerie, it is a preserved natural space in the city with varied wildlife. Dogs on leads follow the banks of the Ill in a historic and natural setting.
