About this place
Réno-Valdieu forest (2,800 ha) on the border between Normandy and Île-de-France is an oak-beech woodland on the fringes of the Perche and the Thymerais. A calm and little-visited forest, it offers vast woodland spaces with the straight-lined rides typical of royal forests and the hollow Percheron lanes. Dogs on a lead enjoy the peace and the immensity of the great oak stands.
