A state forest in the Risle valley · the massif de Montfort (1,800 ha) covers the wooded slopes overlooking this Norman coastal river. The forest offers panoramas over the valley from the heights and trails descending to the Risle. Dogs on a lead enjoy the shaded woodland paths and riverbanks · in a landscape typical of the upper Norman bocage.

Fine of up to 750 € for a dog not kept on a lead outside forest paths from 15 April to 30 June.
Specific rules
Dogs allowed all year round. Lead mandatory outside forest paths from 15 April to 30 June (order of 16 March 1955 · protection of wildlife during the breeding season). For the rest of the year the dog must remain under its owner's control and within 100 m. Guide and assistance dogs are not subject to this rule. Natural water points depending on the area.
