A small national forest on the plateau of the Pays de Bray · the Croixdalle is a typical beech-oak woodland of the Cauchois massifs. Less well known than its neighbours · it offers welcome peace and quiet and forest paths accessible all year round for dog walks in the heart of the Norman bocage.

Fine of up to 750 EUR for a dog not kept on a lead off the forest paths from 15 April to 30 June. Hunting forest: check hunting days on onf.fr.

Specific rules

Dogs allowed on a lead. National rule in national forests: from 15 April to 30 June a lead is compulsory outside the forest paths (order of 16 March 1955). Exceptions: sheepdogs · avalanche dogs · guide dogs.
