Forêt Domaniale de Cerisy — Cerisy-la-Forêt

About this place

State forest spanning the Manche and Calvados departments · Cerisy (2,200 ha) is an exceptional beech-oak woodland · a remnant of the great medieval Norman forest. Close to the abbaye de Cerisy-la-Forêt · this forest offers woodland trails through a remarkable stand of mature beeches. Dogs on a lead can walk quiet forest avenues · between dense coppice and shaded glades · in a little-disturbed woodland environment.
